Built around your inspection

A closer look at what you can do.

Prepare your images once, keep the analysis and inspection context connected, and reuse them throughout your report.

Fast inspection reports

Turn a single image, a selection, or an entire folder into an editable Word report. Bring infrared and visual images, measurements, graphs, and inspection notes into one document.

  • Generate consistent reports from reusable templates.
  • Refine the layout, add recommendations, and export to PDF in Word.

Report templates that work your way

Start with a supplied template or create your own in Microsoft Word. Set up your branding, page layout, tables, and report content once, then use them across recurring inspections.

  • Include images, notations, document properties, and calculated results.
  • Open source images from a report, revise the analysis, and update the related content.

Thermal analysis with the detail you need

Locate hot and cold spots, measure temperature differences, and examine patterns with spot, line, and area tools. Adjust palettes, temperature ranges, and measurement parameters to interpret each image.

  • Relate thermal findings to visible features with infrared and visual image fusion.
  • Explore temperature distributions, track changes, and assess condensation risk.

Structured image notations

Record inspection details with categories and reusable entries that match your work. Select the observations that apply to each image and add free-text comments when you need more detail.

  • Reuse notations sets across inspections for consistent terminology.
  • Bring selected notations into report fields and tables without retyping them.

Assets import

Reuse equipment IDs, locations, and inspection data from a file or database. Keep each image connected to the right asset and bring those details into reports without entering them again.

  • Preview the data, choose the columns to import, and rename categories.
  • Assign assets in image order or link an asset to a specific image.

Compare images and follow changes

Review several infrared images together and use trends to follow temperature changes. Compare inspections of the same equipment to understand how its condition develops over time.

  • Compare images side by side to spot changes between inspections.
  • Group related images into stacks and show their history in reports.

Prepare thermal images for drone mapping

Prepare aerial infrared images for Pix4D or OpenDroneMap while preserving temperature information. Bring your thermal survey into a mapping workflow to examine findings across a larger area.

  • Convert an image selection in one export operation.
  • Create the thermal orthomosaic in your mapping software.

See more with automatic image stitching

Combine overlapping infrared or visual images into a larger view of a scene or object. Stitched infrared images retain radiometric data, so you can continue measuring and analyzing the result in Cronista.

  • Create panoramas or composite views of flat surfaces.
  • Keep the original source images alongside the stitched result.
