Thermal monitoring & process control software

IRT Analyzer APC

From thermal images to automatic action.

Monitor temperatures, detect changes, and put thermal measurements to work in your process. IRT Analyzer APC connects live infrared images with configurable alarms, image and trend recording, and signals for your control system, all in one Windows application.

Built around your process

Measure. Decide. Respond.

Define what to measure, when a condition matters, and how the system should respond. Keep the live view, automation logic, and recorded data together as your process runs.

Several thermal views. One clear overview.

Bring images from multiple supported infrared cameras into a combined view. Define measurement areas, follow temperatures, and compare changes across the parts of your process that matter.

  • Evaluate spots, lines, and areas with minimum, maximum, average, and temperature-difference measurements.
  • Use image panels that update when a selected external signal or timer condition is met.

Monitoring rules you can configure

Build monitoring logic from temperature measurements, external inputs, and timers. Combine different conditions, then use the result to trigger alarms, recordings, or other actions without writing application code.

  • Check temperature limits, differences between measurements, or how much of an area exceeds a threshold.
  • Combine a measurement condition with a process signal so the check applies at the right moment.

Record thermal images and temperature trends

Record thermal image sequences and measurement trends for later review. Both recorders can start and stop automatically when configured conditions are met, using temperature measurements, external signals, timers, or combinations of these inputs.

  • Preserve event context with image frames from before the start trigger and after the stop trigger.
  • Select the measurements to record as trends, aggregate data, and save values in CSV format for further analysis.

Alarms that match your process

Define which changes require attention and how they are signaled. Show alarms in the workspace, highlight the associated measurement object, and activate a digital output or an audible alert.

  • Apply a time filter so a condition must persist before it is accepted, and set a minimum alarm duration.
  • Send event-triggered email notifications with a thermal snapshot and selected measurements through your configured mail server.

Thermal measurements for your control system

Exchange measurements and alarm states with PLCs and other industrial systems through Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP or other supported protocols. Use incoming signals to coordinate checks and recording with the process, and send results back for the control system to act on.

  • Connect supported I/O hardware for physical inputs and outputs.
  • Map measurement values to analog outputs, including 4 to 20 mA with suitable hardware.

Keep watch on the monitoring system, too

Monitor camera connections and incoming images while automation is running. Analyzer attempts to reconnect a lost camera and distinguishes system faults from process alarms, helping operators see whether the process or the monitoring setup needs attention.

  • Start acquisition and automation when the application launches, and protect the running setup with a password lock.
  • Report system health through a digital output and use the watchdog on supported I/O hardware.

Switch monitoring setups with your process

Save camera settings, measurement objects, recording options, and automation logic together in acquisition projects. Load the appropriate project when an external signal or timer indicates a change in the process.

  • Prepare different measurement areas and limits for different products or process stages.
  • Use a master project to share connection and I/O settings across related projects.

Time camera corrections around measurement

Coordinate the camera's shutter-based non-uniformity correction with the measurement cycle. On supported cameras, conditions can inhibit automatic correction during a critical interval or trigger a correction at a suitable point in the process.

  • Use process signals and configured conditions to control shutter timing.
  • Keep camera correction settings with the acquisition project.
